Faith in Action relies on its generous donors to help meet the costs associated with providing our services to the homebound and the medically vulnerable. Approximately 85% of our care recipients are on limited income and are unable to pay for services. Many are unable to meet basic needs, such as food, medications, utilities, or urgent medical or dental needs. Although Faith in Action successfully accesses private grants and government contracts, since no one is turned away for lack of funds, the agency is always in need of donations. Your tax deductible contributions helps ensure that when a neighbor in need calls us for help, that we are able to respond.
You can donate directly using your credit card by pressing the Donate button. This will take you to the PayPal website, a trusted site to make donations.
You can send a check by postal mail to: Faith in Action, 3303 Whitemarsh Lane, Fairfield, CA 94534.
All donations are vital to the work of Faith in Action. There are many different ways in which a gift can be made:
Matching Gifts
Many businesses and corporations support charities by encouraging their employees to donate time and funds. These businesses will often match or multiply gifts made by their employees, and sometimes those made by spouses and retirees as well. To find out if your agency participates in matched giving, contact your Human Resources Department, making Faith in Action your charity of choice.
United Way
As a nonprofit organization, Faith in Action is able to receive donations through the United Way donor campaigns. Pledge forms should note the following:

Donate your car/RV/boat
Donating your vehicle or boat is quite simple. Faith in Action partners with Episcopal Social Services, who takes care of the donation request for the agency. They will send out a dealer to evaluate whether your donated vehicle or boat is resellable. If it is determined that it is, all the paperwork will be given to you to fill out. Once signed, the person sent out to you will take your donated vehicle or boat for you, and you will receive a receipt for the value of the donation, which is determined by its selling price. All necessary paperwork is filed for you. Because it is a partnership, Faith in Action receives 60% of the donation, with the other 40% going to Episcopal Social Services.
